The topic has been discussed at the 59th design meeting. Thorben Vahlenkamp and Hubertus Tummescheit discussed all the technical design to make the integration smoothless, i.e. to introduce new models which are compatible with the Modelica_Fluid framework and use the FluidDissipation library. There is currently no plan of integrating FluidDissipation within Modelica_Fluid, might happen at a later stage.
